Delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is superb- close the city and the coast but calm enough that you can relax and truly enjoy your stay in beautiful Lisbon. Really fantastic value for a very affordable price.

Nice location. Staff was a little less than courteous at times, but generally okay. Toilets were run down and the door to one of them wouldn't close all the way. Everything in the room seemed like it needed a renovation and a really good cleaning. Still okay, if you're out most of the time anyway.

The apartement is modern, in centre of Lisbon, 2 minutes to the main squar! Hospitality is awesome. All the ladies are very homeliness. They are around you if you need help or not. The breakfast, which is included is top(pizza, cheese, salami, jem, fruit, toast, coffee, tea, wiki cream..I felt so good at Brasil guest house Africa. Although check out is in the morning and we had flight in the evening, we could left our baggage there, went to the city and come back, made shower and went. RECOMMEND

This place is in a great location and is unbelievable value. The staff were so friendly it's unreal from wishing me happy birthday to letting us have breakfast past the cut off time, nothing was too much. We picked this place as we wanted somewhere cheap before our wedding but to be honest even when we go back with lots of money I'd rather stay here than a hotel. Yeh there's noise from the street but who needs sleep on holiday?!! I cannot praise this place enough!!!

Nice guesthouse with friendly, welcoming people. Great location without being in the middle of the party. Definitely a good place to stay for those on a budget!

Very nice location and very friendly staff. Nice to have a shower in the room as well. I felt safe and it was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that there is not enough sound insulation. The street noise, and noise of other guests walking the hallway was VERY loud, and made sleeping soundly difficult.

Location is perfect only 2 minutes walk from the beautiful Praca do commercio, very close to Rossio and the main part of the city, Metro stations very close by are rossio, terreira do paco and baixa chiado. Staff are very helpful and caring, always around to help you and give any information. Rooms are very clean and well taken care of. there is breakfast in the morning. Overall amazing place to stay, great value for money, great hosts and in a beautiful location. 10/10

A very nice and clean hostel in a really nice location with sweet and friendly staff. The hostel is an old building and old style rooms which gives a good feeling in itself. The showers and toilets were clean and well maintained. Towels were provided in the room. The breakfast included toast, cereal, cakes and fruits with tea-coffee-juice for drinks. Overall, it was totally worth the money and I would definitely recommend it. The staff is old and it really gave me a feeling of a home stay.

This is not a good place. Almost everything in the hostel is very old and in a bad shape: beds, shower falling apart, floors, washrooms. It wasn't particularly clean either. The place has actually 1 shower for 11 rooms. The room was stale andcouldn't be ventilated (stinky shaft right off the window) and very noisy with traffic and other guests in the breakfast room. This is not, by any standards, a 93% place. You're much better off going for a cheaper private in one of lisbon's amazing hostels.

Everything was perfect except for the mattress which was quite hard and caused us not be able to sleep very well. A part from that, no complaints at all.

The 3 lovely Lisbon ladies were very accommodating! They didn't mind about our later than planned arrival time, and we'e always up to let us in no matter when we arrived back. They always try to be helpful even if occasionally there was a language barrier. Felt very safe there and managed to park our car a 5minute walk away for free! Breakfast was average, but included in the price - so no complaints. Plus they had big bottled water available for only a euro, essential when combating hangovers!

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Everything was clean and kept that way for the entire stay! The room/bed was sufficient and good value for what you pay. Breakfast was slightly limited but that seems to be the case when breakfast is included. The location was great. I would tell my friends to come stay here.

The ladies that run this hostel are the most kind and helpful. Breakfast is great, with fruits, cheese, cakes, and well served. This is a budget place in a very central location, and run with much care and hospitality

Very lovely place. We only stayed 1 night but it was worth it. Very traditional, very Portuguese.

Realy good location, in the city centre! The staff is realy friendly, the breakfast is nice! Everything is, as you see it on the pictures. Not a party hostel, a quiet safe place, to sleep and rest!

Breakfast could be a bit more nutritious and/or provide some variety. Some up-to-date guides/brochures would be helpful. Very clean and safe!
