This hostel is a bit of a strange one - no atmosphere as there is no social area within the hostel, which made meeting people hard. Our 14 bed dorm had only 4 people staying in it which didnt help the sociability of the place. Wifi only worked at one end of the dorm, so i couldnt use wifi whilst in bed. Had to make and strip my bed.Really liked the London Underground theme and the receptionist, Maria was so helpful when checking out as I was very ill and was moving to a more comfortable hotel.

Got battered with the manager, great guy great hostel very clean!!! Fit female worker xxxxx

The staff were really helpful and let me check in early. That's probably the best thing about this hostel. I stayed in a bed near the air con, which meant being chilly constantly, despite the 2 blankets I had been given for this reason (nice staff). The showers were cold and the drains blocked. There was sometimes a smell of sewage too. There are better places to stay on the island. Book here for one night, and then find somewhere else to stay.

Owners were super nice and helpful. Dorms could get a little loud at night and showers were always clogged though.

Exellent location, nice host, best price

Really nice place with really lovely staff, just not a very social place unfortunately. Great location if you want to go diving, plus you get discount i think! But im not a diver and each bunk is separated by a wall, which is great in the mornings when you dont want everyone seeing your sleepy face, but kinda feels like it separates you from your roomies which makes it even less social! Still enjoyed my stay here nevertheless!

Had a great stay at this hostel. Loved that it was close to the pier and could walk it in 2 minutes. Rooms are really clean and the staff is amazing. Helped me determine everything I wanted to do. I actually extended my stay for a few extra nights. Met some cool people here as well.

Good AC and WiFi that usually works. Cold showers. One of the better hostels on Koh Tao to stay in.

Rolf was fantastic with accommodating for our stay, cheers dude, Robbie & Sam!

Awesome hostel as far as location goes, 5 minute walk as soon as you get off the ferry. The bathrooms needed some up keeping, the shower drains were clogged and bathrooms needed some cleaning. Owner was very nice and answered all questions. Would stay here again.

This place is very conveniently located next to the pier. We stayed here for 3 nights. Beds are decent and the bar across the street is a good place to hang out, but the toilets are in very bad condition. Most of the times very dirty. Overall, okayish. Would look for something better next time.

The reception is in the tour shop next door and shuts at something silly like 5pm. The dorms are ok but because the air con is on constantly it is freezing cold with only a thin blanket, they did say we could go down and grab some more but when they shut at 5pm its not really helpful. The hostel is located amongst all the dive shops lots of restaurants but is a 20 minute walk to Sairee Beach.

Good location and good security. Staff are nice and speak English well. I was issued dirty and stained bed sheets of low quality. Poor lighting and quite cramped everywhere inside. WiFi doesn't work well and people can always be seen camping out right next to the router to get Internet. This led to a lot of phone data usage. Bed electrical outlets are weirdly constructed and do not work well. No true common area, but they are affiliated with a nice bar across the street.

I absolutely love this hostel. I booked in for a couple nights and ended up staying five. The staff are absolutely amazing. The wall partitions between the bunks give you a bit more privacy and the bathrooms are simple but cleaned regularly. About a 15 minute walk from the bars and main beach but right next to the pier so getting on and off the ferry is really convenient. Lack of common area wasn't an issue, met a ton of people and congregated at the bar across the street almost every night!

Stayed here for one night. Big dorm but nicely separated into smaller parts with thin walls. Good aircon, nice shower and bathroom area. You have to put on your own sheets and no towels are available. Cafe across the street offers breakfast and drinks with a discount. Location is quite far from all the bars and beach. You're right at the pier

Perfect place to stay!

Staff were fab, couldn't have been more helpful! Bathrooms smell a bit but not so that they're unusable and they're not dirty or anything. No common area which was a shame but there was the bar across the road where there were discounts, and the owner bought us a beer which was a nice extra!

The lack of common area was a real let down! The bar opposite was suppose to act as a common area but as it is open to everyone it can be hard to know who's from the hostel etc. as there were even a fair few families eating there. I was even asked to move the table which was suppose to be reserved for people staying at the hostel in order to make room for a large group who wanted to eat. The atmosphere wasn't great! The beds, staff and bathroom facilities were average, bit far from main nightlife

I had a great time at central hostel! The rooms were clean with really good airconditioning. The Reef bar across the street was a nice meeting point. For several days in a row me and my roomies drank beers with the hostel owner Rolf. Rolf (als known as "Jochie") is doing a great job. Definitely worth staying. Shops and restaurants in the same street, Sairee beach is 15min walk which is fine.

This is a great hostel. I booked for 1 night and ended up staying for a week! Staff were very helpful with travel and activities, and enjoyed a couple of drinks to socialise. The hostel doesnt have a common space, but straight across the road theres a pub and you get a discount! Which serves the same purpose. The toilets do smell, but i think that is part of island living - sometimes they do, other days they dont. Very clean though! Will definitely be back!
