Good hostel for value! Nice location close to the pier, beaches and restaurants. The people there is so nice and the staff is awesome. Cold in the doorms, nice when you come from the beach, but a bit to cold in the night.

Excellent hostel. Staff went above and beyond and gave each guest a personable experience. Good location, comfy beds. Stayed in 14 bed dorm but partition walls allowed for privacy.

Really cool hostel with London underground/Banksy theme. You are treated as an individual which makes for a good atmosphere. You can tell the guy that runs the place is really passionate about the hostel and wants to make sure everyone has a good stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Central hostel, i and two other friends all girls originally meant to stay for 2 nights but added an extra night for convience as it is quite near the ferry dock.. I found the hostel very secure, everyone has their own key and lockers are there (use your own lock). The hostel keeps your passport and has 24 hr cctv in the room (not your bed so it is still private) , nice and clean, use own towels, very basic and not lot of atmosphere as no common room but couldnt complain $$

really liked the hostel. Clean, safe, quite. But I didn't like the staff. They were either rude or full of sarcasm.

This wasn't my favorite hostel that I have ever stayed in. The staff weren't particularly friendly, and the lack of a communal area really made a difference, although I do realize that there isn't much room for open spaces like that on the island. The beds and rooms were clean, and help with renting scooters and snorkeling gear was an added bonus.

Would definitely stay here again! Clean, modern hostel with friendly and service minded staff. Barely any noise from the streets at night, so you get a good nights sleep. No common area, but guests get a 10% discount at Reef bar across the street. Reef has great food, a pool table, cards and board games.

One word: Brilliant!

Amazing stay! The owner is a great guy and the Tube decor is really cool. I ended up extending my stay about 3 times! Internet kind of comes and goes but works fine for most of the time. No common area, but you always end up meeting people in the room (which is great & beds comfy). Great location, next to the ferries, 7-11, beach, etc. Don't think you'll find better value for money than this place. Also, Tube decor. So cool.

Close to the ferry terminal, great staff and travel desk helpful for planning onward travel, good bar across the road for socialising.

Rolf at the reception was great! He welcomed us very warmly, in fact, one girl and other guy that were atending other days were quite.... Not rude, but kind of. New hostel, good location!

As a base this hostel works well. But if youre looking for something more comfortble I'd opt elsewhere. Despite being clean there is a really bad smell in the toilet area, which i think should be masked better. There were also some stains in the bedsheets. Little things but they make and difference. The staff are nice though and the discounts at the local shops and bar opposite are great.

Pros: great location close to both the arrival pier and the nice sairee beach where the action is but far enough to get a solid noise free night to sleep, one free beer across the street also. Cons: no common area, bad lighting, bad smell in bathrooms due to water. Overall I would recommend for koh tao as a good place to stay.

Cool London Underground design, but feels a bit like an air conditioned cave (which can be good when you've been in the sun all day)! Staff is helpful but not too friendly. The toilets do smell awful but everything is visibly clean. Great location for arriving as it's a minute walk up from the pier. If you want something more picturesque I would stay in a bungalow on sairee beach but you can walk to any beach close by from this hostel. Easy to meet people even though there is not a common room.

The manager is passionate and gave an incredible welcome speech. Welcome drink and rebates around, plus cheap tickets for anything you need. Giod value. Bathrooms sticks a bit, everything else is awesome.

Nice set up. Liked the way the dorms were laid out. Felt like your stuff was safe.

Nice hostel but not great atmosphere for meeting other travelers. Convenient location, nice bar across the street.

A perfunctory hostel, but I, traveling solo, felt it didn't really have a very sociable atmosphere. Not great for meeting people, but there's a free drink included, which does help with meeting people. Beds are hard and room is cold. Overall it's certainly not a bad hostel but it didn't stand out as a great one

Not great. Nothing went dramatically wrong but the one member of staff isn't even in the hostel building but next door so not great for security. They keep your ID as deposit, promising to keep it 'secure' in the safe... In reality it's kept in a tupperware on the (sometimes unmanned) desk! The toilets smell pretty bad, the showers don't have any space to put your things/change without everything getting wet. 15min walk to Sairee. No common area.Only given a fitted sheet

Hi, we have a very secure hostel, good lock on strong front door 24 CCTV system with 9 cameras, only one theft, thief caught immediately handed to police. Of course every guest’s passport goes in the safe overnight, it’s ridiculous to think otherwise. There’s always minimum two staff in our office 8:45am – 5pm. Every shower cubicle has a rack. Each guest signs for & gets a full bedding set when they check in; blanket, pillow case & fitted sheet. Please check our FB page for photos.

The hostel was alright. The two biggest downsides are that there is no common area and that it is not at aside village where the pubcrawl is and all the shops and bars. The taxi's charge you at least 300 baht one way to go from the hostel to the other village which is ridiculously high. The staff was not nice at all to me, did not feel like they wanted to help me with tours or anything, it was like I annoyed them. Would not go back to this hostel.
