room quite big, comfy but noisy bunkbeds; window incredibly small,on the hallso no much fresh air. lockers outside the room, not enough for everyone.shared bathroom clean, shower warm but water pressure almost inexistent. leaving room and terrace big, great view. location very convenient, in the middle of downtown. breakfast was good, bread ham cheese, butter dulze de leche, milk coffee tea juice. ok for the price, but half of staff very rude and not friendly, and i think niceness should be for free

Great view from terraces (worth staying just to see it) stairs up are annoying but manageable (the lift takes ages). not the easiest place to find, just find the hoodog stalls in the plaza and go up the stairs. staff helpfull and friendly. great BBQ. mediocre internet away from main area but sufficient.

It's the third time I'm staying there and it's become an unpleasant stay due to the rudeness of one of the hostel's hostess.

The location is just amazing and they have an awesome roof terrace. But when I arrived there was no hot water in the showers and the next morning there was no water at all, no showers, no toilet flush,...the breakfast isnt good either and the stuff is ok. Its definitly worth for 1 or 2 nights because of the view, but I wouldnt go there again.

Not only the cheapest, but also the Hostel with the best view in whole Santiago. THere's nothing better than experiencing the sunset whilst drinking wine, having an almost aerial view on the central plaza in the city. Kind people, nice rooms (the double bed one is the best...!), and the weekly barbecue is amazing.. :-)

The 8-bed dorm has only one window that opens (and only partially) and gets very hot in Summer. There seems to be some sort of ventilator in the ceiling but it doesn't work and the hostel doesn't supply a fan. You might just want to take your mattress out to the porch and sleep outside, if it's not raining. The lower bunks have excellent headroom but the upper ones (mine at least) squeak ridiculously at the slightest move. Perhaps a little WD-40 on the joints?

Good location for a brief stay in Santiago. It´s located in the historic centre with a great view om plaza das armes from the roof terrace. A bit far from good restaurants and bars. Subway is near. The hostel itself was okay. Clean enough and beds were comfy. What I didn´t really like was the attitude of the staff. They weren´t really helpful (and one woman was kinda rude to me all the time) and didn´t make any affort.to create any kind of antmospher or convenience for the guest.

It took us almost an hour to check in. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom which wasn't very clean for the price we were paying. The breakfast was kind of poor. However, the location is great. It is very close to a subway station and around the corner downtown started.

Had a wonderful stay, Staff were friendly, spoke a little bit of English, good value for the price, so close to the metro and very liveable place for a short period of travel time.

View and location are fantastic. Beware if you book an airport taxi thru the hostel. The chalkboard says 16,000 pesos and i confirmed the price with the staff. When we got in he told us the price would.be 20,000 if.we took.the city roads or 25,000 on the freeway. This was clearly.fraud, but he told us 16,000 was the old rate and it was impossible to get an.airport.taxi for that price. We got out and caught a meter taxi for 12,000 (10-15 min drive). Hostel taxi was less safe than regular

Its worth the price just by the location. The hostel is exatcly in front of a metro station in the old downtown of the city. You have easy acces to whatever service you want. The dorms were pretty comfy. Its very good for the price.

Very nice atmosphere and the best location in Santiago

The dorm here was the cheapest I paid in Chile and it was in a great location. Many lockers and a good kitchen. Only issue was the it was really hot in the room.

We got a double room ensuite. We've found it dirty, full of flies. We've changed rooms, and the other one was cleaner, but had problems on the hot water, and less privacy.

This is such a fine location but very noisy. It seems curious that the place completely lacks any warmth or atmosphere. On the positive side, it is well equipped to handle travellers with disabilties.

Perfect location! We stayed in a double room on the 4th floor so it was more like a hotel than hostel feeling. The double room was very big with perfect view on the plaza. Bathroom is very old with a strange smell but what do you expect for the price at this location? We enjoyed using the facilities of the hostel like the kitchen, living area and especially the nice terrasses with beautiful view! The breakfast is very basic (two toast, one slice of ham & cheese, juice, tea) but ok.
