Positives: - Can not be a better or easier location to get to in Santiago! - Amazing view over the Main Plaza Square and rooftop terraces (2 of them) - Hostel is new, showers are hot and easy to control, beds are comfy with lamp, plug socket and wifi in bed. Negatives: - Not much to be honest! However, if I had to really be picky, I would say the atmosphere was a bit dead (low season) and staff could've tried more to organise events. Overall, a great hostel with an unrivalled location!
Great location on the 6th floor if a very grand building. Wifi wasn't the best, but worked well sporadically. Staff were friendly but not the most sociable atmosphere. There is a laundry for 6000 pesos and if you ask at the desk you may be pointed towards a hot shower. Toilet locks don't work so led to a few awkward situations!!
If you are looking for a place, which the location is close to everywhere i recommend choosing this hostel! BUT if you are thinking about taking hot shower, toilets clean, WI FI connection and friendly staff DO NOT GO to Plaza de Armas because:1º: I stayed between 14 and 17 June 2015 and there was no HOT SHOWER; 2º: Men toilet was absolutely dirty and disgusting; 3º WI FI connection I gave up to complain and didnt work;4º The staff were rude and they don't care what is going on at hostel, shame!
Stayed in 4 hostels in santi & was best & also cheapest. Well attended by cleaning/reception staff. Awesome location. Breakfast & wednesday free choripan are skimpy but what do you expect at this price? Social atmosphere varied from raucous groups to long termers to quieter cultural tourists but at least unlike other hostels I stayed at in santi at least there were always people to talk to. Org/flow of hostel is nice with 2 terrace areas at either end & well stocked kitchen. stayed 2 weeks.
You get what you pay for. The hostel is located right in the down town of Santiago but good luck finding it! It is located on the 6th floor of an apartment building. And there are no signs anywhere! I walked around lost for an hour before I figured it out. The hostel itself is fine, beautiful views but terrible showers. The beds are stained, and the comforters are clearly never washed. I don't know if I would stay here again, but at $9 a nights it's a hard deal to pass up.
Very central, and cheap for an hostel with breakfast! I was scared it would be crowded with party people who would make a lot of noise or that it would not be clean, but it was not the case. I would definitely recommend it.
Incredible roof setup over looking plaza de ad as creating a very cool atmosphere at night and relaxed atmosphere during the day. Comfortable beds and good breakfast in the morning and had a great BBQ on the hostel at night. Highly recommend this hostel to any travelers going through Santiago
Great location perfect for a few nights in Santiago. The free walking tour starts right outside the hostel which is great. I would reccomend this hostel.
Great view and location, friendly staff. WORST showers in South America, and that is saying something. The bathroom floor was disgustingly dirty, and the water pressure so low you could barely get wet. The shower walls are see-through, and there's nowhere to put your stuff, so you have to come out naked to get your clothes. Small dirty kitchen, and terrible wifi, takes 10 mins to connect then cuts out. This hostel has potential but they don't seem to care about the little things, or cleanliness.
The bedsheet was not completely dry. Location is great. Metro is right outside.
The staff were helpful with providing advice on travel arrangements and letting us store our bags before catching our overnight bus.
Great location, beautiful views of the Plaza de Armas, clean, well thought out, with excellent staff:- Gustavo in particular was so helpful and friendly.

I RECOMMEND IT! Beautifull view Friendly staff Bed's good Easy connections from here to there by SUB or WALKING. on WEDNESDAY free chorizo bbq, bring a drink :)! Breakfest is oke... The shower's not that privite, you can see eachother more or less next to eachother because of the looktrough wall between you.
A beautifull hostel perfectly located right in the middle of town. Lockers and warm showers. Me and my girlfriend were unlucky and we got a very loudly snoring man in our room but the staff was very quick to relocate us. The balcony views are gorgeous. Some of their more expensive dorms (4 bed dorm) are out of the main hostel area but on the same floor as the hostel itself, so no internet in bed. Breakfast is toast with cheese and ham, basic. All in all a very good value for money.

Stayed two nights in private rooms with ensuite. When checking in the guy didn't go through the offical processes and then gave us a dark old room that didn't feel clean and a bathroom to match. The toilet broke on the first flush and the shower was cold. Second night we had to recheck in. We asked to move rooms and this one was slightly better. Bathroom still old and dirty feeling. Room had paint Peking off walls etc. But amazing view/location right in the square, where there is often music

Nice hostel to stay in for a couple of nights! Location is perfect as it is right in the centre. Staff was lovely, especially the woman at reception who I didn't end up catching her name but she was extremely comforting when I had some issues with luggage transfer on a flight! Showers arnt very clean and there is a strange smell in the air, however I would still recommend staying here!
Great hostel with the absolute best location you can find in Santiago. The hostel provides you with the information that's needed about the city. A bit hard to find, but ask the locals, they'll help you. A relaxed hostel, with a great terrace and view over the city.
Excellent location! Balconies looking over the square were such a great place to relax and eat/drink. Lots of access to information for things to do in the city. Beds were big and comfy, and the breakfast wasn't bad either! The only downside was the hostel didn't have a backpacker feel to it - there were lots of older Chileans staying there at the same time as us, but other than that no complaints really!
Tidy hostel. No lockers in rooms but medium sized lockers in hallway for valuables. Breakfast is good - bread and cheese to make toasted sandwiches. I was in the largest dorm - and it gets a little stuffy
