The staff were helpful with providing advice on travel arrangements and letting us store our bags before catching our overnight bus.

A beautifull hostel perfectly located right in the middle of town. Lockers and warm showers. Me and my girlfriend were unlucky and we got a very loudly snoring man in our room but the staff was very quick to relocate us. The balcony views are gorgeous. Some of their more expensive dorms (4 bed dorm) are out of the main hostel area but on the same floor as the hostel itself, so no internet in bed. Breakfast is toast with cheese and ham, basic. All in all a very good value for money.

Stayed two nights in private rooms with ensuite. When checking in the guy didn't go through the offical processes and then gave us a dark old room that didn't feel clean and a bathroom to match. The toilet broke on the first flush and the shower was cold. Second night we had to recheck in. We asked to move rooms and this one was slightly better. Bathroom still old and dirty feeling. Room had paint Peking off walls etc. But amazing view/location right in the square, where there is often music

Nice hostel to stay in for a couple of nights! Location is perfect as it is right in the centre. Staff was lovely, especially the woman at reception who I didn't end up catching her name but she was extremely comforting when I had some issues with luggage transfer on a flight! Showers arnt very clean and there is a strange smell in the air, however I would still recommend staying here!

Great hostel with the absolute best location you can find in Santiago. The hostel provides you with the information that's needed about the city. A bit hard to find, but ask the locals, they'll help you. A relaxed hostel, with a great terrace and view over the city.

Excellent location! Balconies looking over the square were such a great place to relax and eat/drink. Lots of access to information for things to do in the city. Beds were big and comfy, and the breakfast wasn't bad either! The only downside was the hostel didn't have a backpacker feel to it - there were lots of older Chileans staying there at the same time as us, but other than that no complaints really!

Tidy hostel. No lockers in rooms but medium sized lockers in hallway for valuables. Breakfast is good - bread and cheese to make toasted sandwiches. I was in the largest dorm - and it gets a little stuffy

room quite big, comfy but noisy bunkbeds; window incredibly small,on the hallso no much fresh air. lockers outside the room, not enough for everyone.shared bathroom clean, shower warm but water pressure almost inexistent. leaving room and terrace big, great view. location very convenient, in the middle of downtown. breakfast was good, bread ham cheese, butter dulze de leche, milk coffee tea juice. ok for the price, but half of staff very rude and not friendly, and i think niceness should be for free

Great view from terraces (worth staying just to see it) stairs up are annoying but manageable (the lift takes ages). not the easiest place to find, just find the hoodog stalls in the plaza and go up the stairs. staff helpfull and friendly. great BBQ. mediocre internet away from main area but sufficient.

A nice hostel right in downtown Santiago. The staff are helpful - although more information on things (or local evens occurring) to do in Santiago would be helpful. Hostel is clean and you get bread, luncheon sasauge and cheese to make toasties for breakfast. I was in the large dorm - good and spacious but very limited air ventilation so smells quite bad when full of people. I'd stay again due to great location near metro,

It's the third time I'm staying there and it's become an unpleasant stay due to the rudeness of one of the hostel's hostess.

Location was great. Very centrally located in the Plaza de Armas. It was a little gritty at night, but the building seemed somewhat secured at the front entrance. Facilities were overall clean and spacious while also being very inexpensive. Wifi could be improved though.

The location is just amazing and they have an awesome roof terrace. But when I arrived there was no hot water in the showers and the next morning there was no water at all, no showers, no toilet flush,...the breakfast isnt good either and the stuff is ok. Its definitly worth for 1 or 2 nights because of the view, but I wouldnt go there again.

Not only the cheapest, but also the Hostel with the best view in whole Santiago. THere's nothing better than experiencing the sunset whilst drinking wine, having an almost aerial view on the central plaza in the city. Kind people, nice rooms (the double bed one is the best...!), and the weekly barbecue is amazing.. :-)

The 8-bed dorm has only one window that opens (and only partially) and gets very hot in Summer. There seems to be some sort of ventilator in the ceiling but it doesn't work and the hostel doesn't supply a fan. You might just want to take your mattress out to the porch and sleep outside, if it's not raining. The lower bunks have excellent headroom but the upper ones (mine at least) squeak ridiculously at the slightest move. Perhaps a little WD-40 on the joints?

Good location for a brief stay in Santiago. It´s located in the historic centre with a great view om plaza das armes from the roof terrace. A bit far from good restaurants and bars. Subway is near. The hostel itself was okay. Clean enough and beds were comfy. What I didn´t really like was the attitude of the staff. They weren´t really helpful (and one woman was kinda rude to me all the time) and didn´t make any affort.to create any kind of antmospher or convenience for the guest.

good location, very helpful staff

It took us almost an hour to check in. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom which wasn't very clean for the price we were paying. The breakfast was kind of poor. However, the location is great. It is very close to a subway station and around the corner downtown started.

Had a wonderful stay, Staff were friendly, spoke a little bit of English, good value for the price, so close to the metro and very liveable place for a short period of travel time.
