Vila Veselova Reviews

I stayed there in the winter/spring of 2012. The hostel itself is very good, somehow a little bit far from the centre of the town, but Ljubljana is too incredibly tiny that this doesn't make any diference in the end. Good location to take the train to Postojna (near Tivoli station) too. Ah, very good staff: best I've ever seen ;)

EXCELLENT hostel, best I've ever stayed at. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the bathrooms (soap and paper towels included too!). I was pleased by the layout of the rooms - with the drawer underneath the bed to stow personal items. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the reading light was a nice touch. Breakfast was the best 'hostel' breakfast I've ever had. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and I felt safe at all times. The staff was wonderful, going out of their way to help.

Excellent hostel, one of the best I've stayed in, and the nicest staff. Everyone is very warm and friendly and it was very easy to meet people in the cosy common area. Good breakfast too!

Great place to stay!! Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a great set up. Made us feel very comfortable and welcomed! Also, great value for your money.

Vila Veselova was amazing! From the moment I got there, I was treated like a family member! Cable, Internet, breakfast, snacks, tours, trip info - it's all at your disposal. Plus the facilities/rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Zala and Katja were amazingly kind and I can't find the words to describe how comfortable and friendly they were. Will be back to Ljubljana and looking forward to visiting my friends at VV!

Nicest hostel I've stayed in! The furniture and building were really nice, lots of room in the bunk beds and spaces to store things. The staff were extremely helpful, trying to find alternative travel routes for my and my friends' tricky-to-get-to next destination, and updating boards of information with restaurant recommendations, upcoming events, and the weather forecast. Great breakfast too!

So lovely and nice, old house. A noisy road behind the hostel was a little bit annoying.

Vila Veselova was probably the best hostel I've ever been and I've been to many. Location was good, staff was really nice, hostel was clean and beautiful and all the facilities were great.

Location was great, beds were great, breakfast was great, bathrooms were clean and contained all you needed with good showers, staff were really friendly and helpful, it was in a really good location. I cant think of anything this hostel is missing.

Villa Veselova was one of the best Hostels i have ever been.

This hostel is great. I loved the house, enjoyed the atmosphere and found the staff very kind and helpful. But I was a bit shocked when I was asked to send my credit card details to the hostel via email. I found this unprofessional and insecure.

The hostel is in a somewhat remote area, but is only a 5 minute walk away from the city centre. The hostel itself was also a bit too quiet (although Ljubljana itself was also very quiet when I stayed during January), but other than that the hostel was great. The room was clean, there were plenty of toilets/showers and the breakfast was nice.

The hostel was a great place to stay on our trip. The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated the environment of the hostel as well. I will be recommending the hostel to others that travel your way!

It was a very nice hostel. Very near the center,in a walkable distance, and with a place to park the car. The decoration was very nice,breakfast was a nice time to work on social,i love it. The staff was very helfull,helped in the city tips and about the lakes like bled. The toilets could be larger for the amount of people in the hostel, but loved the hostel. I advice it!

One of those places that makes you wish you could stay another day! Wonderful staff, they really follow their own moto and attempt to truly make the hostel a home away from home! Well done, wish there were more places, people like this.

I really enjoyed my stay at Vila Veselova. The staff there were very welcoming and the hostel was very comfy. I liked their bunk beds. The bathrooms were also very clean. On the floor that I stayed (second floor) there were two computers with internet connection, which was very convenient. Breakfast was also nice too. I liked the way they paid attention to little details such as lighting candles and incense sticks along the stairways, which was very nice. Overall, it's more than worth it! :-)

Nice hostel, located in the city centre in a quiet neighbourhood!!! Private parking is a plus...the breakfast is included and internet connection is providedl! The staff is really helpful! With my group of friends (8 persons in total) we spent two nights there and we would definitely recommend this hostels!!! The best choice in Ljubljana!

Place is completelly cool, and they they give you all facilities you need!
