Amazing hostel. Other then being a bit of a way from the beach, this is a great place. One of my two favorite hostels in Colombia!

Loved the way the hostel was setup. Very nice pool and landscaping. Loads of room for sitting in the common areas, hostel restaurant serves delicious meals for a good price. Rooms are cleaned everyday, front desk staff are very helpful when looking for information on surrounding activities. There is a supermarket close by and the area felt safe to walk around day or night. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

The Dreamer is one of the hostels with highest standards I've stayed in Colombia! clean, excellent facilities, good restaurant and a great swimming pool area and garden, helpful staff, and lots of activities for the travelers. It is conveniently located in Mamatoco area, on the way to Tayrona park Minca and Palomino, has a supermarket/cinema right in front, downtown (not the best, very few things to see there) is 2 dollars away by taxi, I met very nice people there and had a wonderful time.

After travelling for months in whole South America, I must say that the Dreamer is my favorite hostel! I always end up staying here longer than planned. The hostel is nice and clean, both a kitchen and a good restaurant, the vibe is really chill (if you wanna party, you can party, if you wanna sleep, you can sleep), and the location is perfect to visit all the nearby parks/beaches/cities. The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful. Ask them to organize the chiva bus, best night ever!

I had a great time at The Dreamer. The facilities are in good condition, location is excellent, the deluxe dorms have good air con/fans so you get a good nights sleep despite the heat or humidity (the pool is also kept clean - no manky dirty water at this place). The best asset of the place though is the staff who are honestly amazing - BIG special thanks to Este, Eric, Ryza and others for being so nice, knowledgeable, helpful and just an absolute pleasure to deal with :)

On my 4 month trip around South America, this was without a doubt one of the best hostels I stayed at. Even though it's not a proper party hostel, there's plenty of parties and lots of stuff is being organised by the staff. For those wondering: the location is actually perfect: Taganga and Santa Marta are just minutes away by taxi, while it's also easy to get to Palomino, Minca and the Lost City. Highly recommended!

We got charged more than the price on the internet, apparently we already moved to a high season but the internet wasn't updated. It was a bit unfortunate.

A great hostel to stay in with a lovely swimming pool and a great atmosphere. A little bit away from the centre however taxis are cheap enough and there is a great shopping centre and supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Would recommend and stop here again.

Awesome place, with great staff that makes you feel like home. The pool and the outdoor area are made for making friends. I was suppose to stay for 3 nights, but ended up spending 10 nights. If coming back to Colombia, I am definitely coming back to the Dreamer in Santa Marta!

Great hostel.. book it now!.. Don´t worry about the fact that it is not in central santa marta, you can see the centre of town in a couple of hours.. this hostel is beside a massive shopping centre & you can get buses from here to the national park & all the other places around santa marta..

I have travelled a lot all around the world, this is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed at. There are lots of great ones out there, but Dreamers has an amazing atmosphere and environment all the time. I have stayed here 5 weeks because its so good. The staff are so helpful friendly and have great sense of humor, it is in a great location, and has an awesome pool, bar, kitchen and pool table. Theres always good music and fun to be had. I recommend this place to anyone. Very chilled and fun

Wonderful place to stay! The staff are friendly and super helpful, they are answering questions, making calls and reservations constantly, and being nice about it! The pool is heaven as Santa Marta is hot. The supermercado is down the road and there's a complete kitchen so this is a great place to cook. Note however, that it's located in mamatoco and about a 10 minute bus or taxi from el centro in Santa Marta, if that is important to you. As a home base for the surrounding area, it's perfect.

The hostel is far out of the center of Santa Marta, so its not much to do other then chill at the pool. Its perfect for some lazy days. There are some cheap restaurants around the corner and a big shoppingmall. The hostel is quite at night, music and bar shuts at 12. The rooms are big with or without a/c. There could be more toilets & showers, but at least it was usually always clean. one day we had no water for 5 hours, but the staff was very helpfull and tried their best.
