This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in.. I've travelled the world for over 2 years and the dreamer hostel was one of the best if not the best. The beds where comfy and everywhere was always clean.. A secure locker too.. They are the big three..On top of that they had a great pool with lovely trees.. A very sociable hostel with a good bar and pool table.. The staff where exceptional and always had time to help you.. They were so helpful and everything was said with a smile.. I Will be back

Great atmosphere, bar, and location. A lot of English speakers staying at the hostel that can give advice about what to do and where to go next.

Great hostel, excellent staff who helped me when I was vomiting from having eaten bad ceviche in Taganga. Also, when I was on the way to the airport a staff member realized that I overpaid so he called the taxi driver and had the taxi driver reimburse me on the spot. Top notch. Be aware that this is a party hostel, but the noise dies down after midnight. My only real complaint is there Wi-Fi internet. Fix it! It is too slow and rarely worked!

Great place to call home for a few days and explore the region. Staff are incredibly helpful and the owner Miguel was also a great guy. They are in the process of opening up another hostel in Palomino, which is also a wonderful place to stay.

The staff at The Dreamer make all the difference. Their attentiveness, knowledge and flexibility made this part of our trip feel like a holiday rather than just traveling. The pool was a welcome relief to the heat and the cold showers not that bad after day in the sun . The kitchen could do with a bug spray and a scrub down but the huge fridges allowed for easy self catering. The inconsistent wifi was the only let down. Our room was spotless and the bathrooms regularly cleaned.

The Dreamer had a great feel; social but not too loud or raucous. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the restaurant was pretty alright.

Great place to stay!!! Very chill carribean vibe with chill music playing in the court yard, not loud of course, swimming pool, place to cook and store your own food, laundry services, 2 computers to use to look up things that you need for free, nice rooms, air conditioned.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I will totally return and say again. I only had a problem with the day trip to Minca. The transportation was late, and we did not get to stay that long or go to some of the other attractions Minca had to offer. Other than that the stay was great.

Really good hostel, great pool and friendly staff. Beds were OK but everything was clean and fresh and the crowd was good. 5 mins walk from the supermarket and shopping centre and 10 minutes in a cab to Taganaga. Woud definitely go back!

The hostel and staff were great. The pool and bar are awesome. Was only planning to stay a few days, but ended up extending for a week because of the hostel. Easy to get to near by attractions and staff is very helpful. The bunk beds are a little old which makes it difficult for a big guy to climb up to the top bunk,. It would have been more helpful for the daily trips to be advertised better. The standard schedule board (which is never followed) should be replaced with daily activities.

Perfect hostel to stay before or after a trip to Tayrona National Park or the trek to the Ciudad Perdida. Staff friendly and very helpful. Safe storage of baggage available. Kitchen food is well priced and delicious. Good atmosphere with social events happening most nights if you want to get involved, otherwise movie room or hammocks to relax in if you're not wanting to have a big night. Good location - only takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the big shopping center with supermarket.

Loved it here. We had 1 night in a 6 bed aircon dorm - good lockers. Shared bathrooms only have 3 showers, no where to keep your stuff dry but were ok. The private rooms with ensuite are amazing. We spent our last 2 nights in the best room & it was a real treat. The dreamer is the perfect place to meet lovely people & chill out. You can party if you want & town is not far away but you can also just spend your days lazing in a hammock. Magic!

This hostel is a safe-haven away from the hustle of Santa Marta. I especially appreciate how clean it is here!

Great place, great staff, best part of Santa Marta ( one of the only good things about Santa Marta!) No wifi in the room though - not sure if that could be fixable.
