Very average rooms, carpets were old and not vacuumed. Staff were helpful and courteous. Feel internet was a bonus. New bathrooms were nice.

I stayed in this hostel for a weekend and it wasn't too bad, except that our room had to large wet patches on the floor and they were going moldy. The smell was horrible. The staff were really nice though and I liked the facilities.

Hello Alexandra, If there was a wet patch on the floor its probably because someone turned off the fridge. Its a luxury to have a fridge in a dorm room but its unfortunate when people turn it off and wet the carpet. Many thanks for your comments

The staff is very friendly and incredibly nice! I was very impressed by this hostel (my 1st hostel) and I won't be afraid to book there again. For the price it's very good :) Recommended +++.

The locations is fairly close to Central station which makes it convenient. It doesn't look swish from the outside but the room I stayed in was spacious(stayed in a single room). My room had a queen bed, normal-sized fridge and the ensuite which looked recently renovated. The small gripe I had was that the room wasn't vacuumed properly and they didn't have the right size bed sheet. All in all, enjoyed my stay and definitely value for money.

Good location. It's near the Central Station and easy to take the 555 free bus on foot. It is difficult to clean well because many people choose here. Some facilities have to renew. Some rooms also rain inside because the heavy rain outside. The staffs are friendly and glad to solve the problem. The kitchen appears too small to contain so many people.

This hotel is definately one for younger people as they tend to be very noisy. Luckily for us we only stayed one night. So averagely it was okay. Hotel rooms are clean accept that there are only two bathrooms and two toilets in the whole entire building cathering for like people in 40 rooms or so.....

Hi Violet, Thanks for the comments. However, we have 27 bathrooms!!. 5 communal bathrooms and 5 communal showers for less than 40 people. This is better than the recommended standard. So I'm not sure why you think there is only 2 bathrooms? Of course, I will be requesting that hostelworld edit this comment. Regards Management

I spent almost a week in the Hostel and in the end it was really hard to leave! The Hostel is a bit outside from the city but just a 5min walk to central station and surrounded by a lot of parks! The atmosphere in the Hostel is great it is very easy to meet new people. Half of the people are travellers, half stay there and work in sydney! It was a wonderful time in the Hostel and I would come back any time!

Glad that I only booked into here the one night. Not a terrible hostel but my experience wasn't great. The room I was given had 2 big holes in the window so the insects that night had an all you can eat feast upon me. The kitchen is lacking in equipment such as can openers and plates. People i spoke to said this place was good but I did not get that impression on my stay here.

The kitchen is poorly equipped and was usually a mess in the evening after people have used it.

I thought the building was nice, but needed some tlc to bring it back to life, the outside frontage in particular was very tired looking and not a great first impression. When inside, it didn't appear too bad, but beyond it was grubby looking and felt stark and cold. The kitchen was very dirty, cluttered and unorganised (compared with other hostels). The bedroom was also extremely tired, with a tv that did not work and the carpet and bedding had seen better days.
