I was confused by the hostel. It seemed to market itself as a hostel but had more of a hotel feeling.

Reason for saying average for facilities is that there appeared to be only 1 shower per floor for men and 2 showers per floor for women. I ofcourse don't know how many onsuite facilities there were so this may have been for only a few rooms but either way there seemed a long wait and queue for showers in the morning - otherwise the Y was great and very clean.

Had a great stay here. Is located right next to hyde park, and a very short walk into oxford street or shopping on the other side of the park. The facilities were clean and well maintained (apart from the shower of level 8 which was impossible to maintain a constant temperature). Enjoyed my stay here and wouldn't hesitate staying again.
