The clue’s in the name – NapPark Hostel is ON the Khao San Road – so you barely have to walk (stumble) a few steps before you’re back to your dorm after a night out. BUT it’s still beautifully clean and modern, and quiet enough to not be a total party hostel. Guests say: “the staff are really chilled out” and “look out for Long the dog, he’s an absolute babe!”. We’re sold.

Lub d Bangkok Silom is near Chinatown *drool*, with a donut bar 😍 AND a happy hour every day.  It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the Skytrain, which takes you anywhere in the city. According to guests, the hostel staff will “bend over backwards to make sure you have an awesome stay”, and if you fancy going all out in a private room (from only £19…😱) you’ll get an en-suite and TV…talk about POSHtel.

We SERIOUSLY love this hostel. The food is divine, and check out the rooms! Each dorm bed has a private curtain, and a delicious free breakfast is offered. There’s also a cosy lobby, perfect for hanging out and getting to know your fellow travellers. One customer said: “This place is my number one pick of my 6 months travels in South East Asia” – can’t argue with that!

The cafe is a focal point of this awesome hostel, and the moody dark interior feels more like an old-school charming pub than a Bangkok hostel – which is what makes it so atmospheric! It’s just a 10-minute walk from Khao San Road, and near the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, after which you are welcomed into a completely chilled out, endearing vibe. You won’t want to leave!

Yim Yam means “warm smile” which this hostel completely emanates – so much so that it’s got a 10.0 rating! From the dorms to the privates, each room is ridiculously lovely. You almost won’t want to leave, but drag yourself out of the rooms because just around the corner are many fab restaurants plus the station which gives you access to all of Bangkok. One user described it as “the best place to stay in Bangkok” – now that speaks for itself.
