Good price, majority of the staff are really lovely. The cleaners are really friendly and keep the place cleaned to a good standard. Would stay here again if I was in Bondi. The cheapest hostel in Bondi, worth the price paid.

Nice place for spend a good time in a surfer enviroment. High quality for the price and also friendly staff. Susana was very helpful at the reception not only for making the things easier but also for the good tips about Sydney and Australia.

I loved everything about my stay at the Village Bondi Beach, except for the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable that I could not sleep at all. I even tried to ask for an additional comforter blanket to put underneath myself in order to add extra padding, which did not help. However, the facilites were great, and the location was amazing. It was great to be able to walk along the strip on Bondi and also right to the beach itself. Was worth the money for a new facility with A/C too.

Locations is perfect but that’s probably the only good thing, they have one cleaner who was lovely however she had to cover 3 floors and really only had time to do the kitchen and the rooms that people had checked out of that day. We had no aircon for 4/7 days but was given a fan 3 days before leaving. Communal areas were dark and dingy. Glad I stayed there with my partner has wouldn’t want to stay there as a lone traveler

When I first got there I was moved into two different rooms because the air conditioning was broken and there was no locker to leave my belongings. The third room I got into was okay but there was a hole in the wall that was lazily covered up by taping a piece of paper over It. The kitchen was fairly small and extremely dirty. The fridge spaces were even smaller and dirtier. The lack of fridge space meant there was food rotting on shelves. The place attracted some very weird, unpleasant people.

There’s no staff at all. The rooms are tiny and dirty, our room had a big mould spot on the ceiling. You had to make your own bed. The bathroom is tiny. The kitchen was filthy and all the communal areas give off dungeon vibes. There’s barely anyone around, if I was a lone traveller I wouldn’t feel safe there at all. We read previous reviews and were sceptical because there’s all bad so only booked one night and glad that was all we had to stay there for

One of the worst hostels I’ve been to! It was really dirty, the staff cleaned really rare and that in times of corona. Also the staff was not helpful if you had a question and besides they have been unfriendly. I cannot recommend to stay there, better spend a bit more money and stay somewhere clean

Really bad experience. We did a late check-in and our key room wasn’t working, no one was there to help us. We called the reception number and the guy who answer told us that he was going to be there in one hour. So we stayed waiting and trying to open our room. Hopefully, we found a guy who had a master key and could open our bedroom but he didn’t even know about our staying, don’t know who he was, the bedroom wasn’t that clean and reception was close in all our staying.
