General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Group bookings must be cancelled at least 1 week prior to arrival otherwise the full amount of your stay will be charged.

    Bedrooms are really clean and air-conditioned, lockers under the beds so quite spacious. Bathroom in the 4 bed was very modern and clean. Location is quiet but a bit out of the way but great view of the harbour down the road, bus into town is just the other side of the hostel. Only encountered a few staff members but the one we had didn't seem that bothered and gave us the wrong time on times for the office. Kitchen was a disgrace

    It can be a good hostel to stay one or two nights but the facilities and materials are not able to welcome lots of people during a long time.

    Stayed here over the New Year period as it was the only hostel not asking for a minimum nights stay. The hostel is in a good location with buses stopping outside and shops nearby. The hostel itself needs to be improved. Everything is slightly dirty and the staff really are extremely unhelpful

    Hi. When I went to the hostal, the reception was closed, I had to sleep in another place. However you guys took my money from my account. I never did a check in, and of course I never did a check out. How can I do to get a refund of my 27 dollars? I’m waiting for your answer. Sergio Cetina

Things to Note

* Reception hours are 8am – 8pm. Please contact us in advance if you will arrive outside of these hours.

* A valid credit card and ID must be presented on check-in.

* A 2% surcharge applies on all EFTPOS and credit card transactions.

* While we make the greatest effort to place all guests of a single booking into the same room, this is not always possible. To avoid having a group split up, book well in advance.

* We cannot guarantee the same room for the duration of your stay, as existing bookings may make this impossible. We try our best to avoid moving guests around, however in order to guarantee this please book well in advance.

* No refund policy. Payment made towards all bookings can only be obtained in the form of booking credit for any nights cancelled.

* Christmas/New Year: No check-in or check-out on 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. All bookings for the period 24th December – 2nd January inclusive will be charged in full on 1st December. Declined payment will result in cancellation of the reservation. Payments made for bookings during this period are non-refundable and non-transferable. A 2% card surcharge applies.
